We are delighted to announce the National Road Fund Office’s Mentoring and Internship Program for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) students. This program aims to provide valuable diligence exposure and hands-on experience to aspiring students in STEAM fields.

Program objective:
The National Road Fund Office Mentoring and Internship Program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice for students pursuing STEAM disciplines. It offers an exceptional opportunity for students to gain practical insights, develop their skills, and contribute to the real-world.
Key Highlights:
(a) Mentoring: Each selected student will be assigned a dedicated mentor from our team of experienced professionals. The mentor will provide guidance, support, and career advice throughout the program duration.

(b) Hands-on Experience: students will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, applying their theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. This experience will foster critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.

(c) Skill Development and evaluation: The program will include various skill-building activities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance students’ technical and professional competencies where they will be evaluated at each level of the program.

(d) Networking Opportunities: Student will have the chance to interact with professionals from diverse backgrounds. These interactions will help build valuable connections and expand their professional network.

Program Duration and Eligibility:
The mentoring and internship program will span three (3) months and is open to students currently enrolled in accredited STEAM-related programs at recognized institutions. Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Be pursuing a degree in a STEAM field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, and Arts
Have a strong academic record, with a minimum GPA 3.0

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in the roads infrastructure sector.
  • Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
