The National Road Fund welcomes Cllr. Abrahim Sillah as its legal counselor. Cllr. Sillah was recruited and vetted through the AFDB PIU at the Ministry of Public Works as part of the Bank’s contribution to the Road Sector Reform.
The rigorous recruitment process has concluded with the contract signing, hence putting the Road Fund’s Manager as the coordinator for the legal services that will be provided through the AfDB. A key focus of Cllr. Sillah’s role will involve leading the process to Amend the Road Fund Act of 2016, aiming to align it with conventional standards for enhanced independence and transparency.
Noteworthy for his affiliations, Cllr. Sillah is a prominent member of the Liberia Bar Association and also serves as a lecturer at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law at the University of Liberia. The National Road Fund warmly welcomes the new addition to the team.
