Purpose
The Manager’s Driver will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to the NRF Manager and guests. The Manager’s Driver will ensure that the vehicle is well-maintained, in good working condition and all required documents are in order before any trips. The Manager’s Driver will assist with the loading and unloading of office equipment, and supplies as necessary, and maintain confidentiality during performance of duties.
Overview:
- Under the general supervision of the Operations Assistant, the Manager’s driver shall drive all NRF staff and materials (goods). Provide safe and timely transportation services to the NRF Manager and other senior officers or guests to locations as dispatched by the Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Manager’s Driver office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel
- Meet officials at the airport and facilitate immigration and customs formalities as required
- Collect and deliver mail, documents, and other items.
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with the Minimum Operating Security Standards
- Report any accident or driving incident, even minor, to the Administrative Officer as quickly as possible and complete necessary reports
- Obeys all road traffic regulations, including the wearing of seat belts. The driver must ensure that he is in possession of a driving license when on driving duties, the payment of parking fees and other road traffic offense fines is the driver’s responsibility. The Manager’s driver should note that when he is personally responsible for an accident, a sanction could be imposed.
- Carries a mobile phone with headphones at all times, switched on and charged. Carries NRFO contact cards at all times.
- The Manager’s driver should make sure that fulfillment of his tasks is carried out with full care preserving the confidentiality of all matters related to NRFO operations.
- Ensure that the vehicle (s) allocated are checked on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) concerning fuel, water, oil, and other fluids, tire pressure, and any damage/repair requirements (which are to be reported to Administration for action)
- Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, and greasing
- Follow all rules and regulations in relation to the management of the NRFO vehicles
- Maintains the relevant forms (/vehicle Ledger and Vehicle Fuel Forms) assigned to each of the NRFO vehicles and submits them to the Administrative Officer at the end of each month.
- Perform other related duties as required
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Copy of High School diploma/WAEC
- Applicants must possess a valid and current driver’s license issued by the appropriate authority in Liberia.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Candidates should have a minimum of (3) years of driving experience, preferably in a professional setting.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Police Clearance
- Applicants must have a clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations, accidents, or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform minor repairs or troubleshooting is desirable.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for drivers, as they may interact with staff colleagues, and stakeholders of NRF.
- Drivers should be flexible with their working hours and available to work on weekends, public holidays, and outside normal business hours when necessary.
