NRF Opens Applications for 3rd Cohort Internship Program

The National Road Fund (NRF) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 3rd Cohort of its Internship Program. Applications will be open from Friday, March 20, 2026, to Friday, April 10, 2026.

Interested applicants may apply through the link provided below or submit hard copies at the NRF Office, located between 9th and 10th Streets, Sinkor, Monrovia, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.

Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria before applying, as only qualified candidates will be shortlisted.

QUALIFICATIONS AND APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the internship program:

  • Must be a Liberian citizen
  • Must be not more than 31 years of age
  • Must be a graduating university student or a recent graduate (not more than two [2] years) from an accredited university in Liberia in any S.T.E.A.M. discipline
  • Must demonstrate good moral and ethical conduct (to be validated through a police clearance)
  • Must have a history of community, youth, or student leadership (validated through a letter from a community leader or school authority)
  • Must be proactive, with a strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be willing to adhere to safety rules, office procedures, and institutional regulations
  • Must possess practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be fluent in both oral and written English

2. Application Procedures

All qualified applicants are required to follow the application procedures outlined below:

  • Complete the application via the provided online link or submit a hard copy to the National Road Fund Office, 9th & 10th Streets, Sinkor, Monrovia

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Proof of Liberian citizenship (Passport or Birth Certificate)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)/Resume (not more than two [2] pages)
  • University transcript (for recent graduates)
  • Letter of recommendation from a community leader or student leadership
  • Motivational essay (not less than 1,000 words) explaining:
    • Suitability for the program
    • Career goals
    • Contribution to the national development of Liberia
  • A valid police clearance (not older than six [6] months) will be required upon selection

3. Fields of Study

The internship program is open to applicants from the following fields:

  • General Sciences
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Arts (including Business Administration and Social Sciences)
  • Mathematics
