Mrs. Joseta Neufville-Wento, the Manager of the National Road Fund, and representatives from the World Bank held a status update meeting on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, to follow up on the May 2023 meeting.
Mrs. Wento provided the Bank with updates on the status of the Financial and Technical audits that were requested during the previous meeting, underscoring the NRF's commitment to transparency and accountability. Fund Flows was among the key areas of update, highlighting the NRF's dedication to optimizing financial processes to maximize efficiency and impact in the road infrastructure sector.
Also, Mrs. Wento expressed her gratitude to the World Bank for their support in enhancing the NRF's capabilities, particularly through the acquisition of a cloud-based ERP system, Sage 300, aimed at automating financial operations.
